Ovum, Big Salt 2024

Established in 2011 by husband-wife duo Ksenija & John House, Ovum was founded in hopes of producing Oregon white wines that are honest reflections of time and place. Their low intervention production method is a commitment to letting the wine and vineyard shine, not the winemaker: at Ovum, fruit comes first. Big Salt 2024 is an aromatic blend of Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Muscat and Sauvignon Blanc. Named after a good day at the beach, Big Salt is bright, fresh, dry and has an amazing slightly saline finish. Add that to the juicy flavours of peach, melon, pear & honey, and you're left with a superb, totally unique wine which is best enjoyed with Thai food or salmon.
